DENTAL HYGIENE Camp Organised by SOCH... beyond the imagination



A Dental hygiene camp was Organised in Quila Public School by the Students of Z.A. Dental college Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh under the banner of Students group SOCH... beyond the imagination Camp was inaugurated by Noted Social Activist Mrs. Salma Ansari (Wife of Vice President of India Mr. Hamid Ansari). Mrs Ansari said that she was amazed to see such young students doing such nobel jobs for needy and poor students. She also congratulated the whole team of SOCH... At the time of inauguration Mr. Suhail Ahmed Siddiqui (Associate Professor Univ Polytechnic) Mr. M. Yunus Khan (Assistant Prof Univ Polytechnic) and Mr Atishey Mittal (Assistant Prof SRM University) were present Dr. Danish Suhail of SOCH... said that, we will try to organised Such Camps in other Schools also particularly targeting the poor and needy students. Dr. Saleem Mohammad Khan of JNMC & Shantanu Varshney of SOCH.... said that they feel proud in Serving the mankind and Humanity. Around 100 of students were seen by the team of doctors and free drugs were distributed to them. since loose stools due to improper hand washing is very common in children for that purpose, soaps were distributed to every student and proper technique of hand washing was demonstrated to them. HELP Camp Organised by SOCH... beyond the imagination for PMT (MBBS/BDS) Aspirants

MEMBERS OF SOCH... beyond the imagination COME FORWARD TO HELP PMT(Medical) ASPIRANTS CAME FOR ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Many thousands of students came to Aligarh Muslim University to appear in Medical entrance examination. When students with their parents arrived at Aligarh Railway Station students of AMU were already present there to help them On the day of examination students of Aligarh Muslim University under the banner of SOCH... beyond the imagination a student body of AMU students organised various Help camps at different places. Members of SOCH distributed University Examination Centres map, arrangement of chilled and fresh water for the exam aspirants and their parents also made. Some members even went to the centres with student's so that they could reach on time. An aspirant Parent Pratap Singh came from Chandigarh said he went to other universities too but have never seen such camps for the help of aspirants as organised by AMU students or by SOCH... Dr Danish Suhail of SOCH said that as these students came for entrance examination are the future of our country so its our moral duty to help them. Faraz Islam a final year B.Tech student of AMU said that I can better recall that "we can do no great things, but small things with great love" as said by mother terresa and we try to follow this statement as an Alig. Faraz Murtaza, Ashar Nomani and Anas Zaidi of Engg College and Shantanu a Member of SOCH said that last year we had organised such camps and we will continue till we are here in Aligarh Muslim University... Mohammad Daiyan, Amood Gulzar, Jilani Khan, Shahbaz Sajid Khan and Nabeel Mohsin said that we have organised such camps in 10+2 and Engg entrance exams too. Abdul Qadir Jilani Ex- Vice President AMU Students Union and Manzar Hussain Ex- Hony Secretary AMU students Union himself stand there and help entrance aspirant and also congratulated SOCH team for working in such a organised manner in helping students... Aakash Gupta, Muntazar Imam Naqvi, Shaz Nawab, Tabish Suhail, Mohd Faizan, Aijaz Ahmed, Arshad Khaleel were actively involved in distributing Centre maps. Shawez Khan, Aadil Izhar, Saif Alam, Saquib Khan, Tayyab Shahid Fahad Ahmed were involved in Arrangement of Chilled and hygienic fresh water. Moin Mohammad, Sharique, Sartaj and Amir accompanied aspirants to there centre Sz so that they can reach on time. Dr Saleem Mohammad Khan of SOCH could not come up to help the students as he was busy in his preoccupied programme in Delhi..

T-SHIRT PAINTING COMPETITION ORGANISED BY SOCH... beyond the imagination TO DONATE PAINTED T-SHIRTS TO POOR CHILDREN.






















T-shirt painting competition was organized by SOCH... beyond the imagination (AMU students group) in Engg. College fest Zarf-2014 with the aim of distributing the painted t-shirts to slum children.
Chief guest of the occasion Dr Abid Hasan (Associate Professor Dept. of Mechanical Engreening, University Polytechnic, AMU) inaugurated the event by painting a T-Shirt by himself. Dr. Suhail Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr. Yunus Khan, Dr, Manzoor Ahmad and Dr. Kashif Razi were present during the inauguration.
Around 100 of students participated in the event. Students showed their talent and concern regarding society on T-Shirts.
Dr. Abid Hasan and Prof. Abdul Mateen (Arts Faculty) said that they felt proud to be part of such a competition. They appreciated the efforts of organizers and participants
Dr. Danish Suhail of SOCH said that these painted T-Shirts will be distributed to poor children living in slums.
Dr. Saleem Mohammad khan promised to organize such events in the future.
Anas Zaidi and Faraz Murtaza of Engineering College said that these kind of competitions should be organized on a regular basis it shows what is there in the mind of students

World Oral Health Day celebrated by SOCH... beyond the imagination

To commemorate the World Oral Health Day (WOHD), the Disability Unit, Aligarh Muslim University organized a Dental Hygiene Camp in collaboration with a students’ organization, ‘SOCH, Beyond the Imagination’, for visually and physically challenged students of AMU. The objective of this camp is to raise awareness and encourage students to take action and help reduce the global burden of oral diseases. Professor Anis Ismail, Dean, Students’ Welfare and Dr Abdul Hamid Fazili, Coordinator, Disability Unit, jointly inaugurated the camp. In his inaugural address, Professor Anis Ismail appreciated the efforts of ‘SOCH’ and the Disability Unit. He said that he will take necessary measures to help physically challenged students. Highlighting the importance of the occasion, Dr Abdul Hamid Fazili, Coordinator, Disability Unit said that the World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated every year on 20th March to make people aware of benefits of a healthy mouth and observing oral hygiene. He said that the Disability Unit is committed to the welfare of physically challenged students and it has helped students by solving issues pertaining to admissions, hostel accommodation, scholarships, meals and other amenities. He said that the Unit is also trying to seek help from government. Dr. Suhail Ahmad Siddiqui, University Polytechnic and Dr Nasir Ahmad Salati, Dr Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College were present during the inaugural function. They said that this kind of event should be organized on regular basis for benefit of physically challenged students. Dr Danish Suhail of SOCH said that such camps will be organized on a regular basis.
